# ImageToPrompt Privacy Policy

ImageToPrompt processes data only when you actively use the extension on a selected image.
## What the extension stores
- Your configured API settings, including Base URL, API Key, and Model, are stored in Chrome extension local storage on your device.
- The extension does not use analytics, advertising SDKs, or background tracking.
## What the extension sends during analysis
When you right-click an image and run ImageToPrompt, the extension sends the following data to the AI service endpoint you configured:
- The image you selected
- The current page URL
- The image alt text, if available
- Basic image metadata such as width, height, and aspect ratio
- Your API key, only as required to authenticate the API request
This data is sent directly from the extension to the AI service endpoint you configure. The extension developer does not operate a separate proxy server for these requests.
## How the data is used
- To generate Chinese and English prompts and a short visual analysis for the image you selected
- To improve prompt accuracy by including limited page and image context
## Data sharing
- The extension does not sell user data.
- The extension does not transfer user data to third-party data brokers.
- Data is shared only with the AI service endpoint you configure for the requested analysis.
## User controls
- You can update or clear your API settings at any time from the extension options page.
- You can remove the extension to delete locally stored settings from Chrome.
## Third-party services
Your use of any configured third-party AI service is also subject to that provider's applicable terms and privacy practices.
